Finding and Fixing Duplicate Profiles

No data was found

Maintain a clean, unified system directory by locating and merging accidental duplicate profiles.

NAVIGATION PATHWAY
School > Data > Data Quality Dashboard > Suspected Duplicates

  1. Run Duplicate Check: Open the dashboard to allow Arbor to auto-scan names, birth dates, and contact
    records across the database.
  2. Review Conflict Matches: Examine the generated list showing potential pairs of duplicate students,
    guardians, or staff members.
  3. Select Master Record: Click on a suspected duplicate pair. Review the conflicting fields and select
which record will serve as the primary 'Master'.
  4. Consolidate Information: Check the boxes next to addresses, emails, or phone numbers from the
secondary profile that you wish to safely port over to the Master profile.
  5. Execute the Merge: Click Merge Profiles to permanently lock the data records together.

Support Tip: Merging profiles cannot be undone manually. Double-check birth dates and linked siblings carefully
before finalizing any merge operation.
